How do I pay for my order?   We currently accept both MASTERCARD and VISA.  We will charge your credit card only on the day that we ship your order.
     
What other charges will there be on my order?   The applicable sales tax(es) will be added to the cost of your items if shipping within Canada.  There will also be shipping charges.
     
How will you be shipping my order?   Our normal shipping method is by Post Ground or Purolator Ground.  If you need expedited shipping, this can be arranged with us. 
     
What can I expect to pay for shipping my order?   Shipping charges are set by Purolator and Canada Post and are normally based on weight.  For example, the shipping charge is $9 (CDN) for a package which weighs up to 10 lb. and is shipped within Ontario by Purolator.

However, all shipping carriers use a system called "Dimensional Weight" which adds additional shipping charges for items which, although they may be light, are large/bulky (e.g. deck chair), or long (e.g. antenna).  We will contact you to approve the shipping costs before we ship, if such charges are expected to be significant.

     
How quickly will I receive my order?   Orders will be shipped within  1-2 days.  If the item is not in stock, we will let you know how soon we expect to have it.

If Post Ground is used, the typical delivery time within Canada is 2-5 days.

If Purolator Ground is used, the typical delivery time within Canada is 1-3 days.

     
What should I do if my order doesn't arrive when I expected it to?   Please contact us for assistance. 
     
What happens if, when I receive my order, I discover that I didn't order the right item?   Hopefully, this problem will be rare since we encourage you to call us to handle any questions you might have before you order.  However, if the situation does arise, then the item will be subject to a restocking and handling charge, as determined by the manufacturer and Marine Parts Canada (typically 10-25%).  In the case of special orders, some material may not be returnable, subject to the policy of the manufacturer. 

Please notify us right away to discuss returning the item and to get our approval.  Items being returned must be in "as new" condition, and shipped back to us in a separate box, along with all of the original packaging.  It must be insured for the value of the item and shipped via Post with tracking numbers, and received by us within 5 days of the date of your receipt.  Items returned to us without our approval will not be accepted and you will not receive any credit.

     
What happens if you shipped me the wrong item or an item I didn't order?   Please notify us right away so that we can reship you the correct item.  We will ask you to ship the incorrect item back to us.  The shipping charges you incur will be credited to your account, as will be the charges for the incorrect item when we receive it back.
     
What do I do if my item has been damaged or an item is missing from the package which was shipped to me?   This situation should be rare, since we always package orders very carefully so that they arrive in good condition.  However, since shipping is FOB shipper, the shipping carrier would be responsible for such problems.  You should note the damage and/or missing items on the freight bill and immediately file the proper claim with the shipping carrier. 
     
What warranty do I have for the items I buy?   All items are covered only by the producer/manufacturer of the items, and any claims should be directed to them.  We believe that the items we sell are of the highest quality.  However, Marine Parts Canada makes no warranty, expressed or implied, over and above that of the producer/manufacturer of the items purchased.
